What are we to make of the Saville revelations and those spilling across the internet like so much stinking slurry?
When we hear that Saville was one of many visitors to the Duncroft School- ‘celebrities and minor Royals’, when we hear that Prince Charles was a close friend of Saville’s and stayed at his Scottish cottage with him, when we read that the Wrexham child abuse scandal also involved ‘famous’ and ‘important’ people, when we were told that the Police’s Operation Arundel that lead to the prosecution of BBC Radio One’s DJ Jonathan King had revealed multiple other leads which were never pursued, when we learn that Operation Ore, the international police operation to track down paedophiles online, had also netted senior police officers, politicians and members of the establishment, when the investigation into the paedophile ring in Warrington care homes had an ‘international’ dimension, when the mother of Holly Greig alleges that senior people in Scotland have raped and molested her daughter, when the investigation the paedophile Peter Righton contained clear intelligence of a widespread and ‘powerful’ paedophile ring, leading up to the door of Downing Street, when Edwina Currie, former Tory minister admits she and many others knew that Sir Peter Morrison, former Conservative MP and parliamentary aide to Margaret Thatcher, was a ‘noted pederast’, when Prince Andrew publically acknowledged his close personal friendship with convicted billionaire paedo Jeffrey Epstein with whom he ‘partied’, when the investigation into Jersey’s Haut de La Garenne involving systematic child abuse and murder was abruptly halted (which had far-reaching links to North London), when we know that MI5 used the Kincora Boys home in Northern Ireland to blackmail senior paedophiles in the 1970s, when there are persistent rumours that police frequented Fred and Rose West’s house in Cromwell Street for sexual purposes, when we read of Roger Took, Barbican Arts Director who abused his own daughter’s children, who quite possibly was involved in child rape and murder in Cambodia, how when he went to trial he had 23 letters of support as a leading and repspected member of Britain’s art Establishment from the wealthy and ‘respectable’, when we hear that former Prime Minister Edward Heath was warned off soliciting for sex from young men while he was in office, when we read that (now Lord) Grenville Janner QC was due to be tried for child abuse until the main witness in the case died…
IT FUCKING STINKS IN HERE
…when we read that Millionaire French politician, Dominique Strauss Kahn, who was tipped to become head of the IMF enjoyed the ‘clandestine practice in certain powerful circles of French society: secret soirees with lawyers, judges, police officials, journalists and musicians that start with a fine meal and end with naked guests and public sex with multiple partners…. The exclusive orgies called “parties fines” — lavish Champagne affairs costing around $13,000 each — were organized as a roving international circuit from Paris to Washington by businessmen seeking to ingratiate themselves with Mr. Strauss-Kahn…. when he was being investigated for involvement with organised prostitution… and what of the Marc Dutroux affair in Belgium, where police ‘incompetence’ muddied the investigation into the murder of two little girls, with allegations that Dutroux was supplying children from across Europe to wealthy and powerful clients, and the ‘Bunga Bunga’ parties of Italian ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi where he ‘enjoyed the company’ of under-age prostitutes, and the ‘D’-Notice slapped on the Cullen enquiry, which examined the peculiar links between the then Labour MP, George Robertson and the paedophile-turned mass murderer Thomas Hamilton, , or the millionaire William Goad convicted of child abuse in Plymouth with the rest of his paedo ring, or the aborted raid on Eton College looking for evidence of child abuse ? What are we to make of the terrible allegations across the internet of very famous and well known public and political persons, dead and living, being involved in the most heinous of sexual crimes against children? (Allegedly-Edward Heath, Cyril Smith, Nigel Lawson, Leon Brittan, Lord McAlpine, Lord Mandelson, William Whitelaw, Gordon Brown, Lord Louis Mountbatten…allegedly ) What are we to make of all this? Are these all malicious rumours?
THERE IS NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE?
It seems self-evident that some of the very wealthy, and those with political power of one sort or another, once they tire of accumulating material objects, turn to accumulating sensual experience –erotic gratification, regardless of morality, regardless of the human cost, in fact it would seem that the paedophile activity of wealthy people, both proven and alleged, in particular, fulfils a need to ‘own’ and to dominate people by sexually abuisng them, penetrating their very beings, invading them psychologically and physically, to attempt to capture and destroy the essence of their humanity.
We know that the very rich and famous, like petulant children, enjoy having their every whim met, whether it be pop stars demanding puppies in their dressing rooms, film stars needing to have a particular brand of soda wherever they go, clothing tycoons demanding that their staff be a certain age and wear the right clothes- and this is on top of having super-yachts, car-lifts for their penthouses, multiple homes around the world and collections of 20 cars, their consumption of high-grade cocaine and other drugs etc, etc. We know that the upper classes put no great store by the fidelity of marriage, despite the constant lecturing of the rest of society about ‘family values’ and ‘rights and responsibilities’, and are renowned for their extra-marital affairs and illegitimate children. It must be very easy to become very jaded in such a short time, when money is no object and when one has tired of all available amusements. It is without doubt, an easy transition, to go from choosing ‘what’ to own to choosing ‘who’ to own, whether temporarily as a prostitute or a sex-slave, be it an adult or a child ‘pleb’. After all, the very rich buy and sell people’s lives every day, in the form of their labour; they can also destroy people by making them redundant to maintain profits.
THE LAST DAYS OF POMPEII?
We are not so very far from the decadence of the ancient Imperial Romans- We live in a world that is also infinitely corrupt, one that desperately tries to deny the fact, and yet fails miserably to do so. See how the Catholic Church has been revealed to be a nest of internationally organised paedophiles, how the banks and other financial institutions are all riddled with corruption and run by crooks in expensive suits who rig the markets, how politicians have been on the fiddle for years through expenses, lobbying, gratuities and kick-backs, how the army is riddled with bullies and war criminals, how journalism has no ethical backbone at all and is prepared to hack the phones of murder victims, how multi-nationals fix prices and con their customers with lies, how sports-people will dope themselves up to win races and corporate sponsors, how the police collude with the bent press, when they are not too busy covering-up their own criminality, from deaths in custody and phone hacking, to Hillsborough and Orgreave, how the clothing and cosmetics industries sexualise children in the name of profit and politicians do nothing about it…
Of course there have been scandals before- Profumo, Jeremy Thorpe, countless Tory MPs fucking their secretaries, other MPs caught with rent-boys- but this is of a different stripe altogether- the rape and molestation of children- which breaks every civilised taboo there is, vulnerable children too, as if stealing an ordinary child’s innocence wasn’t enough, the children involved were already victims of abuse and neglect, and in need of care, not of unsolicited, unwanted sexual advances from revolting old men.
What strikes me about this situation is how utterly debauched and decadent it is- almost as if the wealthy are the living heirs of the Emperor Caligula- seeing it as their right and privilege to indulge every fantasy and every desire- Just as Jimmy Saville talked about how he had the ‘Ultimate Freedom’ which was coupled with his ‘political clout’, I have no doubt that the rich and powerful paedophile network that lurks in the darkest recesses of the black heart of power in the UK, nestled as it is in the general moral hypocrisy of politics, also feels the same way…
‘Lust is to the other passions what the nervous fluid is to life; it supports them all, lends strength to them all … ambition, cruelty, avarice, revenge, are all founded on lust.’
Marquis de Sade (1740-1814), French author. Juliette, in L’Histoire de Juliette, ou les Prospérités du Vice, pt. 2 (1797).
THE RICH ARE OUR MISFORTUNE.
* I do not believe in an age of consent, but that children and young people should be free to explore their sexuality as they see fit, I have no problem with any sexual activity so long as it is based on informed consent, or an informed consent that is age-appropriate, I’m aware that paedophilia is a society-wide problem, and not just confined to the elite networks of rich perverts, and believe that no adult has the right to impose their mature sexuality on children or young teens. One day, society will develop a psychologically healthy attitude to social and family relations and to sexuality-Or at least I hope it will…
